The Illinois economy is showing terrific signs of a strong comeback in 2012 and home sales this spring is one reason why. With Illinois reas estate news all positive it’s time to start thinking about buying that new home that you have had your eye on.
Industry watchers report that the our state’s real estate market has not been this busy in five years. And the numbers confirm what real estate agents already know. Illinois real estate news for March shows that not only did we record the largest increase in home sales across the state in four years, but we reversed the 20-month long decline in housing prices. We are now in a buyer’s market because interest rates are staying low and steady at around four percent.
Home sales are strong, but better homes are selling fast and the inventory is decreasing. So with Illinois’s housing market conditions this favorable, and spring in the air, it’s a great time to get out and do a little house hunting.
