Not long ago, you likely remember us announcing our special scholarship award we planned to give out. After receiving lots of fantastic entries from several great students, we’re excited that we can finally announce a winner! It’s our pleasure eto offer our congratulations to Michael Sonnenfelt of Valmeyer, who is this year’s recipient of the Tammy Mitchell Hines, Integrity…And a Smile Scholarship. Michael will be attending St. Louis University and will be studying Biomedical Engineering.
This is the 13th consecutive year Tammy has awarded the Integrity…And A Smile Scholarship to one local student with a $1,000 scholarship towards college tuition or books at the University of his/her choice. Tammy feels that it is important to give back to the community that has been so supportive of her and her business, and through her scholarship program she is able to do that. By recognizing and rewarding young people for being outstanding students and citizens is something Tammy takes great pride in and looks forward to every year.
Again, a big congratulations to Michael! We want to wish him the best in his future studies and career!
